Bobby Canipe is the founder of Fostering Champions, a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of teens aging out of foster care. His mission is simple yet powerful. Help every foster teen discover their worth, potential, and purpose.
Bobby’s passion for this mission began from his own story. Growing up Bobby entered foster care at just five years old after losing his mother and being separated from his father. With only a trash bag of belongings, he moved from home to home, facing loss, instability, and uncertainty—until he was finally welcomed by a forever foster family who changed his life.
Together with his wife, Dell, Bobby has fostered twelve teenagers, helping many pursue college and trade school opportunities.
With The Forgotten, Bobby invites the Church to rise up in prayer for foster teens—those who are too often unseen and unheard. This prayer journey was born from his conviction that lasting change begins with the body of Christ interceding on their behalf. Through prayer, Bobby believes we can shift perspectives, awaken compassion, and help every “forgotten” teen discover they are deeply known and loved by God.
